Throwing a party? want to class it up a bit? check out Extyratasty.com for a huge list of drinks you can make with whatever booze you have lying around the house, or alternatively use it to form a shopping list of ingredients that allows you to make a variety of cocktails and shooters.
Extratasty.com is a community based site where people can share drink recipes with each other. They feature a drink of the day, user comments and a HUGE selection of different drinks, all searchable and taggable. Like one drink? check out the Similar recipes links and find others you might like. Disagree with how to prepare a drink already listed, well you can add you own method to give others a chance to try yours too. By far the best feature is the 'My Bar' area enter in the ingredients that you have at home and Extratasty will give you a list of drinks you can make with things you already own. You can also add drinks to your own favourites (which you can sort into categories) and even sync it with your iPod The only feature that is in my opinion missing is the ability to create an automated shopping list from the drinks in your favourites, but then we can't have everything eh?... try it here it's FREE You can see my recipe book here http://extratasty.com/profile/9376/munkey_b0y/ (though at the time of writing this I have yet to add any recipes) |
