I've been working on a new template for the site for a while now, and today it goes online. there are still some tweaks to implement before it is finished but this time the site looks a hell of a lot cleaner than it did in the past. It is also a hell of a lot more accessible than it was before. It would not have been possible without some excellent Joomla related tutorials available on the net.

CSS doesn't seem so confusing anymore, thanks to  the tutorials and references at www.w3schools.com/css/.

Another great source for info on Joomla template design can be found at www.compassdesigns.net  it contains detailed tutorials on not just what to do but why you should do it. with guides such as 'Creating a Blog Site With Joomla' and  'Usability, Accessibility, Web Standards, SEO and You' there is plenty to learn, especially for the newbies.
